It looks like I'm back at Yahoo's Fancouver. Wow what a day I can barely begin to describe it. Started off at school for a 3 hour choir rehearsal, then I went downtown with Pauline. We went to the Apple store where we got 2 more pins, then off the the BC Hydro Power Smart Village. It was actually quite informative and fun. Wandered around downtown some more and marveled at the amount of people that roam the streets. Each and every venue we want to go to had really long line-ups, so we didn't go to any of them. Those venues include the Olympic Superstore, VAG, and the Canadian Mint Pavilion. Had a good encounter with a couple of Americans flight attendants who flew in for the day and were looking for instructions.

Later that night we met up at the Victory Ceremony where I witness history as Alexandre Bilodeau received Canada's first GOLD medal on home soil. Originally, my seats were pretty crappy but I spotted some free ones waay closer to the stage and so we jumped seats :D. When Alex got his medal the crowd went nuts and Canada has never been more proud of an athlete. Then I got to meet Byron Wilson as he visited his family sitting in the same section as us. The night ended with Charles Martel getting everyone on their feet dancing.
Not a bad day enduring with a cold. Im dead beat. Time to head home. Pics to come...
