Maria and Melissa blogging live from Yahoo! Fancouver in Yaletown.
I passed by the Fancouver site in on Wednesday, but I didn't fully realize what it was and so I didn't stop. This has not been the only change in Yaletown. In fact, once you get off the Canada Line, you can feel the energy radiant off everyone there. The streets are full of artist and vendors full of the Olympic spirit. All the eaterys and bars are full of people and there is no short of wonder at the transformation.
The downside is that the line-up to get on the train in massive with waits of what looks like 30mins to an hour. This was to be expected but its still overwhelming to see.
This is only the first stop today. Look to hear more coming soon.
